Which Therapeutic Model Advocates The Changing Of Ones Behavior Inorder To Influence His Feelings?

Instead of changing ones feelings first, inorder to influence his/her behavior. Example, someone is anti social so the therapist recommends attending a social function a couple times a week. The desired effect is that the individual begins to “feel” more social and comfortable. What theraputic model would this fit most? Is it behavior therapy, or what?
